Die besetzte, selbstverwaltete Fabrik von Vio.Me. besteht nun schon seit 10 Jahren. Nach der Schließung der alten Filkeram-Johnson-Fabrik durch die Eigentümerin beschlossen die Arbeiter*innen, ihr Schicksal selbst in die Hand zu nehmen und nicht untätig zu bleiben. Mit der Besetzung der Fabrik und der Entscheidung, unter Arbeiterselbstverwaltung zu arbeiten, beschlossen die Arbeiter*innen, die Produktion auf eine soziale und ökologische Weise umzustellen. Aus dem Fliesenkleber stellt Vio.Me. nun ökologische Reinigungsmittel für alle Verwendungszwecke her, und zwar zu Preisen, die für die breite Gesellschaft erschwinglich sind.
In einer Welt, in der Preise, Inflation und Kriege täglich zunehmen, ist das Beispiel von Vio.Me. ein Leuchtturm für die Arbeiter- und Sozialbewegung, der das Projekt der Selbstverwaltung in die Praxis umsetzt und eine nachhaltige soziale Alternative aufzeigt.
Wir, die Perspektive Selbstverwaltung, laden die Arbeiter*innen von Vio.Me. am 18. Februar um 16 Uhr ins New Yorck im Bethanien ein, um mit ihnen über Selbstverwaltung und ihre sozialen und arbeitspolitischen Perspektiven zu diskutieren.
EXKLUSIV: Das Grundstück, auf dem sich Vio.Me. befindet, wurde vom griechischen Staat in einer geheimen Auktion an einen ausländischen Fonds verkauft. Vio.Me. braucht mehr denn je unsere Unterstützung und Solidarität.

The occupied self-managed factory of Vio.Me. has been operating for 10 years now. Following the closure of the old Filkeram-Johnson factory by the ownership, the workers decided to take their fate into their own hands and not to sit idle. By occupying the factory and deciding to operate under workers’ self-management, the workers decided to change production to a social and ecological one. From tile adhesives, Vio.Me. now produces ecological cleaners for all uses, at prices affordable for the wider society.
In a world where prices, inflation and wars are increasing on a daily basis, the example of Vio.Me. is a beacon for the labour and social movement, putting the project of self-management into practice and showing a sustainable social alternative.
We, as Perspective Self-Management, invite the workers of Vio.Me. on the 18th of February at 4 pm at New Yorck im Bethanien to discuss with them about self-management and its social and labour perspectives.
