Zu Palästina und Israel

 

Einleitung

Seit sieben langen Monaten sehen wir, wie sich das grausame Blutbad, der Tod und die Zerstörung in Palästina verschärfen. Die Region hat ein Stadium erreicht, in dem genozidale Rhetorik und Praxis, das wahllose Töten von Zivilist*innen, nicht nur stattfinden, sondern in dem auch die Abgründe menschlicher Zivilisation live in die ganze Welt übertragen werden. Und mittlerweile zeigt sich weltweit, insbesondere in Deutschland, ein zutiefst problematischer Diskurs über diese Ereignisse, ihre historischen Wurzeln und es werden sogar Legitimationsversuche verbreitet.

Sieben lange Monate haben wir, Perspektive Selbstverwaltung, eine anarchistische Organisation in Berlin, dazu geschwiegen. Mit dieser Erklärung wollen wir das Schweigen brechen, das viele von uns als Kompliz*innenschaft mit dem Genozid in Gaza verstehen. Wir wollen am Anfang klarstellen, dass die palästinensische und die israelische Gesellschaft, wie alle Gesellschaften, heterogen sind und voller innerer Widersprüche und (gegensätzlicher) Bewegungen mit unterschiedlichen Perspektiven stecken. Es ist wichtig, darüber zu lernen und sie zu berücksichtigen, um ein tieferes Verständnis der Region, ihrer Geschichte und der dort wirkenden Ideologien zu gewinnen.

Da das die erste Stellungnahme unserer Organisation zu diesem Thema ist, soll es keine tiefgreifende Analyse, sondern eine Positionierung sein. Wir möchten mit diesem Text unsere Positionen zum deutschen Diskurs, den historischen Wurzeln des Konflikts, zu den Ereignissen des 7. Oktobers und zum andauernden genozidalen Krieg in Gaza klarstellen. Und außerdem eine Selbstkritik zu unserem langen Schweigen formulieren. On Palestine and Israel

For seven long months, we have been watching an intensification of absolutely horrific carnage, death, and destruction in Palestine. The region has turned into a stage on which genocidal rhetoric and practice, the indiscriminate killing of civilians, do not only take place, but also stream live the abyss of human civilization to the whole world. In the meantime a deeply problematic discourse about these events, their historical roots, and even efforts of legitimization around the world unveil itself; in particular in Germany.

For seven long months, we, Perspektive Selbstverwaltung, an anarchist organization in Berlin, have been silent about this. With this statement, we want to end this silence, which many of us have seen as complicity in an unfolding genocide in Gaza. We would like to clarify at the beginning, that the Palestinian and the Israeli societies are, like all societies, heterogeneous, full of internal contradictions and (conflicting) movements with different perspectives, which are important to learn about and take into account, to gain a deeper understanding of the region, its history and the ideologies at work.

This being our organization’s first statement on the matter, the aim will not be to provide an in-depth analysis of the matter but a clarification of where we stand.
